Spanish club Sevilla have reached an agreement to acquire Super Eagles forward Bright Ejuke.

The 26-year-old has agreed verbally to join Sevilla and is scheduled to undergo a medical examination on Monday, June 17. Following the medical, he will finalize a three-year contract with the La Liga side.

Sevilla, seven-time winners of the UEFA Europa League, finished 14th in La Liga last season and are aiming to bolster their squad for the upcoming campaign.

Ejuke caught Sevilla’s attention following a successful loan spell at Royal Antwerp last season, where he contributed five goals and six assists across various competitions.

Previously with CSKA Moscow, who acquired him for €11m in 2020, Ejuke struggled to make an impact in Russia before finding form during his loan stint in Belgium.

He arrives at Sevilla as a free agent, adding depth to their squad with his versatility as a winger capable of playing on both flanks, known for his pace and skill in one-on-one situations.
