Thirteen people have been reported killed, said to have been allegedly masterminded by Fulani herdsmen in a fresh attack in Jos, capital of Plateau state .

The tragic incident occurred on Thursday night at Charity Hotel junction, Rukuba road of the State.

Eight of the thirteen people who were killed in the attack were of the same family, according to an eyewitness who spoke with TNG.

“The only surviving member of the family only escaped because he was not around when the killings occurred,” the eyewitness said.

The eyewitness, who pleaded anonymity, said that a pregnant woman was beheaded and her unborn baby severed from her womb.

As at the time of filing this report, youths from Miango have launched a reprisal attack on the fulani herdsmen at Farin Gada in Jos town with troops of the Nigerian Army said to have prevented the youths from carrying out the attack.
