Following the Lagos state government’s denial of allegations that state funds were utilized to pay Governor Sanwo-Olu’s legal team during the election tribunal, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV), the Labour party’s governorship candidate in the March 18 election in Lagos state, expressed his thoughts on the matter.

Initially, Gbadebo had taken to his X platform to criticize the state government for purportedly using state resources to compensate the lawyers representing Sanwo-Olu in the election tribunal.

In response to the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso’s statement refuting these claims, Gbadebo shared a song by Femi Kuti with the phrase “them bobo una,” a local expression implying deception.

His reaction signifies skepticism or disbelief toward the government’s denial regarding the alleged use of public funds for legal representation, as suggested in the shared post.
