In Dikon Nasarawo, Mayo Belwa Local Government Area of Adamawa State, the arrest of a 30-year-old man named Usman Inusa by the Adamawa state police command has been reported. He stands accused of allegedly defiling his daughter.
The father of the victim, Adamu Ahmed, reported the incident to the police, prompting an immediate investigation ordered by the state’s Commissioner of Police, CP Afolabi Babatola.
State detectives swiftly acted upon the report and apprehended the suspect, described as a close family member. Further investigation revealed the suspect’s alleged history of stealing domestic animals in Nasawo Dikon.
The arrested suspect is currently in police custody awaiting arraignment in court.
