The Kaduna State Police Command has reported the apprehension of an alleged goat thief specializing in Pasali Konu village, Kagarko Local Government Area. According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Mansur Hassan, the 20-year-old suspect, a resident of Igwa village in Kagarko LGA, was captured on Saturday during a patrol.

Hassan stated that on November 11, at approximately 0430hrs, a surveillance team and vigilante members arrested the suspect, armed with dangerous weapons and a facemask. The individual, who confessed to being part of a duo involved in goat theft, mentioned that the other accomplice fled upon spotting the patrol team.

While the second suspect remains at large, Hassan assured that efforts are underway to locate and apprehend him. The arrested suspect will face charges in court following preliminary investigations, and Hassan emphasized the commitment of the police command to eliminate criminal activities in the state. He also urged the public to provide timely and valuable information to enhance proactive measures against criminal activities.
