A Lexus car crash along Liasu Road in Lagos’s Idimu area resulted in severe injuries to four adult males. The incident occurred around 5 am on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
Reportedly, the vehicle was speeding and lost control, veering off the road to collide with a shop situated opposite a Catholic church in that vicinity. The impact also caused damage to a building behind the shop, affecting occupants who were still asleep at the time.
Eyewitnesses informed Punch that the occupants of the vehicle suffered varying degrees of injuries during the crash. Emergency services responded, transporting the injured victims to the hospital for immediate treatment.
Despite the severity of the accident, the driver managed to escape unhurt initially but was later apprehended by local residents at the scene.
