Four missing children from Kwaku village in Kuje Area Council of the FCT have been discovered in the nearby Leda village in Kwali Area Council. The father, Muhammad Janyi, had reported their disappearance after returning from the farm and finding them absent, following vigilantes’ activities in Kwaku related to kidnappers’ informants from Miyetti Allah.
Janyi confirmed the recovery of his children after a Good Samaritan notified him of their whereabouts on Saturday evening. The vigilant efforts of the community helped reunite the children with their family—Mohi, Muhammadu Dogo, Abubakar, and Malami, bringing relief to Janyi.
Tragically, in a separate incident, two individuals abducted two weeks prior from Sabo community in Kwaku ward, Kuje Area Council, were killed by their captors. Bissalla Yusuf and Mohammed Ibrahim were abducted, and the kidnappers demanded N15 million ransom. The family member disclosed that the abductors also looted food and provisions during the raid. Nasabo Oyoyo confirmed the tragic fate of the young men, stating they were killed a few days ago.
