Caroline Danjuma, the renowned Nollywood actress and producer, has opened up about her decision to step away from the second season of The Real Housewives of Lagos reality show, having previously participated in the debut season in 2022.
Taking to her Instagram account, the 36-year-old actress cited her reasons for not returning to the show, highlighting the unfavorable qualities of certain individuals involved.
She emphasized that The Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOL) is an unscripted program, lamenting the presence of manipulative, vindictive, individuals with low self-esteem and a penchant for dishonesty.
Caroline stated, “Absolutely nothing is scripted; if it were, as an award-winning actress and producer, I would have continued to deliver my finest acting skills. If you possess negative qualities, admit to them.”
“I chose to leave the show because I had grown weary of the insincerity, falsehoods, cruelty, manipulative behavior, low self-esteem, and the overall unpleasantness. Frankly, I was apprehensive about my own reactions towards these individuals,” she further expressed.
Describing her co-stars, she criticized them as a “group of manipulative, vindictive, low self-esteem individuals who indulge in falsehoods.” She also indirectly acknowledged Morey Faith, indicating that she deserves to keep the metaphorical crown.
Caroline Danjuma, also known as Carolyna Hutchings, had previously engaged in heated online disputes with her RHOL co-star, Iyabo Ojo. Furthermore, she exchanged harsh words with another co-star, Toyin Lawani, on the subject of broken relationships and failed marriages.
