I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the President of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the honor and opportunity he has bestowed upon me as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Development (South East).

Your Excellency, being a part of your historic and transformative administration has been an exceptional experience and a highlight of my career. I wholeheartedly accept this mandate with the utmost humility and gratitude.

I want to especially commend Mr. President for his insightful decision to establish a lifeline for community development in the South East. This decision has provided assurance to Ndigbo worldwide about their inclusion in the current political landscape.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to my mentor, Senator Dr. David Nweze Umahi, the former Governor of Ebonyi State and current Honorable Minister of Works. It is under his guidance, support, and mentorship that I have reached this position.

As I undertake this responsibility, I assure our leaders that I will seek extensive input on our shared agenda of reform and revitalization for Ndigbo and the South East. My team and I will actively seek the wisdom of both present and past Igbo elites. We are here to serve you, our esteemed leaders, and we will always listen to and heed your guidance.

Taking note of the overwhelming support, goodwill, and solidarity that have greeted my appointment, especially from my friends, family, and supporters, I am resolute in my commitment to honor your trust.

Indeed, Mr. President, we owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to your courage and vision. Once again, I thank you for deeming me worthy of this appointment. I eagerly anticipate working with you as we collectively navigate our nation towards a brighter future.

I am confident that, with the grace of God and the continued prayers and support of the people of the South East, a new era is dawning upon our region.

Accept my heartfelt gratitude, Mr. President, and esteemed leaders of our nation.

Yours faithfully,

Barrister Mrs. Chioma Nweze Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Development (South East)
