Terem Moffi, the Nigerian Super Eagles striker, isn’t backing down in his feud with Kylian Mbappe, and he’s taking the battle to social media following an impressive performance for OGC Nice against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
In a thrilling Ligue 1 match, Moffi and Mbappe each scored twice as Nice shocked the defending champions with a 3-2 victory at Parc des Princes.
Moffi made a bold statement with his goal celebrations, which included removing his shirt and waving it in front of the PSG fans, a move that didn’t sit well with Mbappe. The two players engaged in a heated argument on the field, resulting in Moffi receiving a yellow card for his actions.
Despite the altercation, Nice held on to their lead, and Moffi’s second goal proved crucial. After the game, Moffi continued the feud on his social media accounts, posting pictures of his celebrations along with a video clip of Conor McGregor’s iconic post-fight speech, complete with the caption “From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely nobody.” Moffi’s message was clear: he wasn’t apologizing to Mbappe.
