In Ketu, Lagos, a school-turned-residential building partially collapsed on Sunday, September 17, leaving at least two individuals in critical condition.

According to eyewitnesses in the area, the structure, known as Agboye Estate on Oduntan Street, Ketu, houses over 800 rooms and hundreds of residents. The initial collapse occurred on Saturday afternoon after several hours of heavy rainfall in various parts of Lagos.

Residents were in the process of salvaging their belongings when the building suffered another partial collapse on Sunday. This subsequent collapse resulted in the destruction of another structure within the compound, ultimately leading to the complete collapse of the building.
