Taliban authorities have apprehended a Nigerian citizen on suspicion of drug smuggling in Afghanistan.
The Taliban Public Relations Department disclosed this arrest through their social media platform on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
In line with the statement released, the individual in question will face a rigorous flogging as part of his punishment before being repatriated to Nigeria, with transit through Kenya.
