Singer Skales and Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Bright Edafe, engaged in another exchange of words on X during the early hours of Sunday, September 17.
Their initial clash began two days ago when Skales questioned the presence of the police in Nigeria after videos of the late singer, Mohbad, being assaulted went viral.
Edafe responded to Skales’ post, explaining that the police force can only initiate an investigation when a formal complaint is made, and police stations are not on X.
In response, Skales rebuked Edafe, telling him to “shut up.” Edafe, in turn, accused Skales of attempting to revive his “dead career.”
Later that day, Edafe shared a video of himself dancing to one of Skales’ songs, emphasizing their brotherly relationship and expressing no hard feelings.
However, on the following morning, Skales noticed Edafe’s post and launched another attack, calling him a “fool” and an “idiot.” Edafe responded by stating that he wouldn’t insult Skales because he was raised properly.
The verbal exchange between Skales and Edafe continues on X.
