Music executive K-Solo has made startling allegations, claiming that Naira Marley is connected to the demise of his former signee, Mohbad.
During a conversation with Channels TV on Sunday, September 17, K-Solo argued that Naira Marley, the proprietor of the Marlian Music label, cannot distance himself from Mohbad’s death, as he allegedly failed to intervene when the 27-year-old singer was facing persistent intimidation, abuse, and harassment.
Responding to Naira Marley’s statement, in which he disassociated himself from Mohbad’s passing, K-Solo remarked:
“Naira Marley is implicated. He cannot convince me that he is not involved. He played a role in his death. You can’t have someone under your label and watch them get bullied every day without saying anything, and then claim ignorance. You can put out a statement, but anyone can do that. Naira Marley is connected to this.”
Mohbad’s demise on Tuesday, September 12, under controversial circumstances, triggered a nationwide outcry following the emergence of videos depicting him being assaulted by individuals allegedly affiliated with Naira Marley and his record label.
