A tragic incident occurred as an officer of the Federal Road Safety Corporation (FRSC) lost his life while making an effort to stop an approaching lorry in the Orile area of Lagos State.
Video footage circulating online suggests that the officer had leaned into the car through the driver’s side window in an attempt to halt the lorry’s driver.
However, despite his efforts, the lorry’s driver continued to move forward and eventually collided with a parked petrol tanker. The harrowing video footage shows the officer’s head wedged between the lorry and the tanker, with his body hanging outside. This unfortunate incident resulted in the loss of the officer’s life.
