In Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, an alleged notorious thief has been apprehended.
Reports indicate that this individual, known for his purported penchant for stealing chickens, was captured by a local security team at Orie market on the morning of September 18, 2023.
Sunday Ezenwankwo alleges that the suspect has been involved in pilfering chickens from Imilike community in Udenu Local Government Area, subsequently selling them for N1000 apiece. In a unique act, the security group secured the pilfered chickens around the suspect’s neck.
“Presenting to you an expert chicken thief from Imilike, who was tracked down by the Imilike security group to Orie Igbo-Eze Modern Market. This man has gained notoriety as a chicken thief within our community. Consider the audacity of selling these stolen fowls at a price of 1k each,” stated the local source.
