Actress and singer Teyana Taylor has revealed her separation from her husband, Iman Shumpert.
In a comprehensive statement released on Sunday night, September 17, Teyana explained that although they have separated, they remain the best of friends, excellent business partners, and an effective team when it comes to co-parenting their two wonderful children.
She went on to clarify that the reason for keeping this matter discreet is her preference for privacy and her belief that it’s not anyone else’s business.
She stated:
“Not to delve too much into my personal life, but Iman and I have separated, and it’s been some time. To be absolutely clear, ‘infidelity’ is not one of the reasons for our separation.
“We still share a strong friendship, work effectively together in our business ventures, and excel as a team in co-parenting our two beautiful children. Most importantly, we are FAMILY. Throughout our 10 years together, including 7 years of marriage, we have always taken our relationship seriously and never played games with it.

Teyana and Iman have been a couple for an extended period, having tied the knot in 2016 and welcoming two children together.
