Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a cautionary message to President Bola Tinubu regarding Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State. Ayodele believes that if Tinubu offers El-Rufai a position in his government, it could have disastrous consequences for Nigeria.
In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele claimed that El-Rufai harbors an agenda to Islamize Nigeria. He urged Tinubu to exercise caution and prevent El-Rufai from causing harm to his government and the country as a whole.
The cleric expressed concern that if El-Rufai assumes a role in Tinubu’s government, he would not only endanger the stability of the nation but also ignite a religious war. Ayodele emphasized that Christians are a peaceful community and urged Tinubu to intervene before El-Rufai’s actions lead to a destructive conflict.
Ayodele concluded by stating that if El-Rufai gains power within Tinubu’s government, he would potentially ignite a religious crisis and pursue a nefarious agenda that will eventually be exposed. He asserted that God would thwart El-Rufai’s plans and bring about their downfall before they come to fruition.
