Sergio Ramos, the legendary Real Madrid player, paid homage to Zlatan Ibrahimovic following the Swedish striker’s announcement of his retirement from professional football.

After AC Milan’s 3-1 victory over Hellas Verona on the final day of the Serie A season last weekend, Ibrahimovic addressed the fans at the San Siro. In his address, the 41-year-old confirmed his retirement while expressing gratitude to the supporters.

This decision marks the conclusion of an extraordinary 22-year career, during which Ibrahimovic showcased his talents at some of Europe’s most prominent clubs, including Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Barcelona, and Ajax.

In response to Ibrahimovic’s retirement, Ramos took to his Instagram story on Monday to share his thoughts. He wrote, “Zlatan hasn’t retired from football, football has retired from Zlatan. You will be missed, lion.”
