The Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, Chief Dr. George Moghalu, has felicitated with children on today’s occasion of Children’s Day celebration.
The NIWA top boss in a message, rejoiced with them; saying that today’s solemn occasion affords the significant opportunity to reflect on roles and responsibilities of Parents and Leaders towards bequeathing greater and brighter future to them, and also assessing how far we have fared in this regard.
In line with 2023 Children’s Day Celebration theme, *”Investing in our future means investing in our Children”* Our children are our future, and the initiatives that come from them give confidence that our country has a bright future.
“As leaders and parents, let us continue to reinforce campaigns and provision of enabling ground that will ensure that our children enjoy their childhood, as well as strengthen initiatives that will promote their safety and security as well as attain their best level in education and talent discovery.
