Health workers are currently staging a protest in the Federal Capital Territory, issuing a strong warning that they will initiate an indefinite strike starting at midnight unless the Federal Government addresses their grievances.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that these dedicated professionals are represented by the Joint Health Workers’ Union.
They are demanding the immediate payment of hazard allowances, as well as a revision of the Consolidated Health Salary Structure to align with the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure.
Additionally, the protesters are calling for an end to discriminatory practices within the healthcare industry, among other concerns.
