Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck attended the premiere of her new film The Mother in Los Angeles earlier this week, with them having attracted attention over a seemingly ‘tense exchange’ at the event
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had another seemingly tense exchange whilst at the premiere of her new film The Mother.
The couple were photographed at the event in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening (May 10) and it looked as though there was a bit of friction between them.
Ben, 50, appeared to sternly point towards something out of view, whilst his wife Jennifer, 53, also seemed to make pointing gestures as they conversed whilst on the carpet.
A video from the premiere however provides some context and suggests that there wasn’t tension between Jennifer and Ben whilst they posed together at the event.
They further added in their interpretation that she tells him to “come close to me” and said that following the photoshoot Ben says “that’s us done” before kissing his wife.
He subsequently checks that she is okay and Jennifer responds by saying “yes” before adding that they need to “step over there,” according to the lip reader’s evaluation.

Following their interaction and after having posed for photos alongside Jennifer, he’s seen heading off in a different direction moments later.
The couple seemed to be enjoying the event in other photos, with them seen embracing and kissing each other whilst in attendance at the premiere in Los Angeles earlier this week.
