A Shining LIGHT and the most precious, adorable little girl. I never knew how much my life would change and how much comfort and Joy a human could bring… My smart and loving Princess, I love you more than life itself.. You are a Light to us and to your generation.

“As you turn 2, I re-dedicate you to the God that Gave you to me. The One who never sleeps nor slumber… HE is doing an excellent Job at taking care of us… Grow in wisdom and abundance of Grace my little Angel. Mummy loves you too much”

In 2021, the actress revealed in an interview with Stella Dimoko Korkus that she had a daughter through surrogacy.

Surrogacy is a type of assisted reproductive technology (ART) in which a woman, known as a surrogate, carries and gives birth to a child on behalf of another individual or couple.

Ini Edo also mentioned that she opted for a donor due to her fear of witnessing conflicts and controversies between parents in public forums.

“Another major reason I chose a donor is that it scares me so much when I see banter and controversies in public forums between a mother and a father over a baby in public forums, I’m afraid of what that would mean for the child,” she explained.
