Nigerian Afrobeat singer, and Seun’s Kuti’s nephew, Omorinmade Kuti, better known as Made, has asked Peter to leave him out of the issue as his family remains united.
It all started when Nigerian musicians Seun Kuti and Peter Okoye a.k.a Mr P found themselves in a heated exchange over the 2023 elections and Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi.
In the course of their argument, Peter made reference to Seun’s brother Made, saying that he was well guided and clean.
Made Kuti quickly responded, asking Peter Okoye to leave him out of the issue. He said that he and his uncle were united as a family and intended to stay that way. He also asked Peter to not use him as a tool to insult or badmouth his uncle.
“Please do not use me as a tool to slight, insult or badmouth my uncle. I’m not sure how we are perceived, so I should clarify. We stay united as a family and intend to keep it that way. Thank you,” he said.
Controversial singer Portable also joined the argument, calling out Peter for insulting the Fela Kuti family.
