A power outage on Monday, brought the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi to an abrupt end.

The rally was set to feature speeches from APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, President Muhammadu Buhari and the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

However, the event came to a halt as the microphone on the podium malfunctioned just as Senator Adamu began his opening remarks.

According to reports, despite the efforts of engineers on site to fix the electrical equipment, the problem could not be resolved.

President Muhammadu Buhari was forced to simply walk to the stage, where he presented the party flag to the APC governorship candidate for the state, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar (retired).

After the flag presentation, President Buhari and his security detail immediately left the stadium without making any further statements, causing confusion and disappointment among the attendees.

Similarly, Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, left the venue without uttering a word to the crowd of party members and supporters.
