The Governor of Rivers State, Nyeson Wike, has vowed not to abandon the Peoples Democratic Party to armed robbers.
He said this to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 elections, Peter Obi.
Wike said rather than leave the PDP like Obi, a former two term governor of Anambra State, did, he would stay on to chase away the armed robbers from the party.
The Governor of Rivers State made the remark during the Inaguration of Nkpolu Oroworukwo Flyover in the state on Wednesday.
According to Wike: “I am not going to leave PDP to the armed robbers, just as you left the party.
“I am going to stay in the party and chase away armed robbers from the party.”
