The cities of Marrakech and Rabat in Morocco have been confirmed as the two venues to host the second edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League from October 30 to November 13.

The matches will be played at Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat and Grand Stade in Marrakech.

The tournament’s final match will take place in the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

That was the same venue which hosted the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on July 23, 2022 in Rabat.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that eight clubs will take part in Africa’s biggest women club football competition.

Group A has hosts ASFAR (Morocco), Simba Queens SC (Tanzania), Green Buffaloes (Zambia) and Determine Girls (Liberia).

The competition’s Group B has Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Bayelsa Queens (Nigeria), Wadi Degla (Egypt) and TP Mazembe (DR Congo).
