Nigeria’s popular singer, Kizz Daniel, has explained the meaning of the title of his hit track: “Buga.”

He offered the meaning on: “The Breakfast Club,” a morning show on Power 105.1 in New York, United States of America.

Recall that the hit track has become a hit song around the world, with a challenge, called: “Buga Challenge,” travelling round the world.

The Tekno-assisted track has enjoyed massive success both locally and globally with individuals of different social strata jumping on the “Buga Challenge.”

Important personalities such as the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, have also been caught dancing the song.

Just recently, Nigeria’s world record holder in the 100m hurdles at the World Athletic Championship in Oregon, United States of America, Tobi Amusan, had a white man play the music for her after she emerged winner.

Speaking on the meaning on the radio show, Daniel, 28, explained: “Buga means to flaunt your success unapologetically.

“Just letting people know that you’ve worked so hard and you deserve to celebrate your success.”
