According to ‘The Telegraph’, Newcastle have decided to withdraw from the race for Jesse Lingard because the player wants to be paid nine million euros.
Jesse Lingard is unlikely to remain at United next season. The player, who ends up his contract on 30th June, is already analysing the proposals he has received in recent months.
Clubs such as PSG, Milan, Newcastle and Juventus, among others, are interested in him, but one has just left the race for his signing. It is the Magpies, as they do not agree with the attacker’s demands.
According to ‘The Telegraph’, the player wants to be paid around nine million euros per season and the British club have no intention of reaching that figure.
United’s 2021-22 season will end next match and Lingard has made 22 appearances, scoring two goals and assisting one.
