On Monday, Polish Health Minister Adam Niedzielski said that Warsaw might impose new COVID restrictions if coronavirus infections continue to increase.A top aide to Polish President Andrzej Duda told the state news agency PAP on Wednesday that Duda had tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in isolation.”The president is fine, has no severe symptoms, and is under constant medical care”, Chief of Staff Pawel Szrot claimed on his Twitter page.Duda previously tested positive for the coronavirus in October 2020, when the Polish president tweeted that he was experiencing no COVID-19 symptoms, but that “unfortunately, the test result is absolutely unambiguous”.
