Edo State Police Command on Wednesday arrested a 13-year-old boy for allegedly murdering his 80-year-old father.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Bello Kontongs, the boy committed the offence on Sunday and is now in custody awaiting trial before the juvenile court.
Kontongs warned young people against anger management, adding that they should also avoid the use of drugs.
The PPRO further narrated how an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) serving with the Command neutralised two armed robbery suspects who attacked the said officer on Sunday night.
He urged the residents to shun crime, stating that the Command is committed to a constant fight against criminality in the State.
