Southampton are expected to have midfielder Stuart Armstrong at their disposal for this evening’s Premier League clash with Leeds United.
The 26-year-old has been out of action for over a week after picking up a muscle injury in action for Saints.
That injury saw him miss a week of training, leaving him sidelined for Saturday’s clash with Chelsea.
But now he has made his return to Staplewood, just in time to find himself in contention for the trip to Elland Road.
Hasenhuttl will remain without Kyle Walker-Peters, Theo Walcott, Ibrahima Diallo, Will Smallbone and Michael Obafemi.
Walker-Peters, Walcott and Diallo are all out with hamstring problems while Smallbones and Obafemi have long-term problems.
For Hasenhuttl, perhaps his biggest headache this evening will come in midfield with Moussa Djenepo, the star of the show on Saturday, likely to be desperate to keep his place.
But with Armstrong expected to return, his Austrian boss could be tempted to revert to his strongest side.
Meanwhile, Influential Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is set to miss the fixture.
