Chrissy Teigen recently returned to social media, following the tragic loss of her son Jack in September.

And the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model has had a lovely support system, helping her get her spirit back during trying times.

She was full of ‘warmth and happiness’ Sunday, as she took to Instagram with photos of some of her friends giving blood in honor of her baby Jack, amid a shortage in donations.

Overwhelming gratitude: Chrissy Teigen was full of 'warmth and happiness' Sunday, as she took to Instagram with photos of some of her friends giving blood in honor of her baby Jack, amid a shortage in donations

The 34-year-old wrote: ‘Ok, I tried writing this 4 times but the tears were too much. Here we go again, with my heart full of warmth and happiness.

‘My friend @kimmiekyees sent me this with the caption “Me and 6 of my friends donated blood to replace the 7 pints you were given in the hospital, in honor of baby Jack. I love you friend.”‘

She added: ‘Phewwwww the tears. I’m overwhelmed by our circle of friends. The love I feel for each and every person in our circle actually makes me ache. @kimmiekyees, I’ve known you for so many years now.

‘You know every story, you hear every life gripe, you’re amazing at what you do but the way you treat my kids and family is cherished always. To do something like this for baby jack is just…I dunno. Beautiful.’

Chrissy previously revealed her own tribute to the baby she lost 20 weeks into her pregnancy, showing off a ‘Jack’ tattoo on her wrist.

She appears to be in good spirits lately, gracing her fans with some Halloween content from her family on social media.

The Chrissy’s Court star donned the White Swan look from Natalie Portman’s 2010 thriller Black Swan, as husband John Legend, 41, dressed as Spider-Man.

It comes after she made her official return to Instagram last week, also writing a moving personal essay about the experience for Medium.
