Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Ahmed Wase has congratulated the new Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, on his appointment as the 19th Emir by the Kaduna State Government.
In a message by his Chief Press Secretary, Umar Puma, the Deputy Speaker urged the Emir to build on the legacies of his forefathers and uphold the sanctity of the throne in particular and the traditional institution in general.
“I want to extend my sincere congratulations to Ahmed Nuhu Bamali for his well-deserved appointment as the Emir of Zazzau by the Kaduna State Government.
“As a trained lawyer, banker and diplomat, I am confident that you will live up to expectations and build on the legacies of your forefathers, anchored on humility, modesty and sacrifice for the well-being of the people of Zazzau Emirate.”
Calling on the Emir to see his appointment as a rare opportunity to serve his people and the country at large, Wase prayed the Almighty Allah to give the monarch the strength and wisdom to carry out his duties diligently and with fear of God.
Bamali was appointed the Emir of Zazzau by Governor Nasir El-Rufai from a list of three candidates recommended to him by the Zazzau kingmakers.
