Ajax look likely to be without goalkeeper Andre Onana for their Champions League clash with Liverpool later this month.

RTL report that the Cameroonian has tested positive for COVID-19 on international duty, meaning he now has to self-isolate for two weeks.

With Liverpool making the trip to the Netherlands on October 21st, that would mean Onana is unavailable.

The 24-year-old has become a key man for Ajax in recent years, helping them come within seconds of reaching the Champions League final back in 2018/19.On October 8th, 2015, Reds history changed forever, as they appointed the charismatic German to replace Brendan Rodgers.

From the off, it was clear that Liverpool had acquired the services of a special manager and he has turned his side into arguably the most feared in world football.

Klopp sealed Champions League glory in 2019, a year on from losing the final against Real Madrid, before winning the Premier League title last season – one of the biggest achievements in Liverpool’s history.

It has been an unforgettable five years with the 53-year-old at the helm and the hope is that there are plenty more great memories to come.

There have been endless iconic photos of Klopp since he walked through the Anfield entrance door, so we’ve selected 30 of the best since that great day back in October 2015.

There is no doubt that this would act as a boost to Liverpool, although it is sad to see any player testing positive currently.

The Reds could be given a stern test by Erik ten Hag’s side at the Johan Cruyff Arena, with the Dutch giants mirroring Liverpool’s start to the league campaign, winning three matches and losing one in the Eredivisie.

Onana’s expected absence means the hugely experienced Maarten Stelekenburg could come into the team, but the 38-year-old’s lack of football means Liverpool should aim to test him at every opportunity.

Stekelenburg made only 26 appearances in four years for Everton before returning to Ajax, so his potential rustiness could play into the Reds’ hands.
