The Senator who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th National Assembly, Shehu Sani, has empowered a photographer Peter Oyinbo, who had practised his trade in Zaria for the past 51 years.

Senator Sani presented an undisclosed sum of money to Oyinbo through one of his Aides, Umar Bomber at his photography shop in Zaria.

Presenting the money, Umar said the gift was in line with the Independence Day celebration and the promise made to Oyinbo on 30 September when the Senator paid a condolence visit to the Emirate over the demise of late Emir Shehu Idris last month.

He said the donation was  Sani’s way of encouraging Nigerians to live anywhere in the country and be their brother’s keeper.

Oyinbo, expressing gratitude to the senator for the kind gesture said he arrived Zaria in 1968 and started his photography job in 1976.
