Acting chairman of the party Dr Ita Udoessien, who stated this at the party’s stakeholders meeting at Vinpy Event Centre, Uyo,Akwa Ibom State, described the party’s financial condition as worrisome.
He said Please permit me, on behalf of the party to inform us that the financial health of our party is worrisome.
“As we speak the party is unable to meet its obligations to the secretariat staff for about four months now viz June, July, August and September 2020, in addition to sundry bills for the running of the secretariat, stipends to the State Executive Committee members and ward officers since after the 2019 General elections” he said
He frowned at lack of cooperation and collaboration among leaders of the party, adding that such had been responsible for party supporters leaving for other parties
He said “The late state chairman of our great party had consistently harped on this, calling for togetherness, unity, harmony, co-operation and collaboration amongst our leaders simply for the sake and benefits of our teeming party faithful.”
