Jamal Lewis – Newcastle have made further moves in the summer transfer window after signing Norwich left-back Jamal Lewis for £15m on a five-year deal. (September 8)


Jeff Hendrick – Hendrick has joined Newcastle on a four-year deal following the expiration of his Burnley contract (August 25).

Callum Wilson – Wilson has signed a four-year deal at Newcastle after moving from Bournemouth for £20m (September 7).

Ryan Fraser – Newcastle have confirmed the signing of free agent Fraser on a five-year deal (September 7).

Rob Holding – Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has all-but confirmed Holding, subject of a loan-signing bid from Newcastle, will stay at Arsenal, saying after the win at Fulham: “I said to him ‘change your mind because you are not going anywhere’. He stands for every value we want at the football club (September 12); Newcastle’s bid to take Arsenal defender Holding is currently on hold. It’s understood Arsenal are currently unwilling to allow the defender to leave. Newcastle retain an interest in the player but may have to bide their time depending on whether Arsenal decide to bring in a replacement to free up Holding (Sky Sports, September 7).

Rhian Brewster – Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly blocked an approach from Newcastle to take striker Brewster on loan next season (Daily Express, September 8); Newcastle have been asked to be kept informed of Liverpool’s plans for Brewster (Daily Telegraph, September 7).
