David Raya – Brentford would only be prepared to sell David Raya to Arsenal if the Gunners loan him back to them for the rest of this season (Sky Sports, September 18); Arsenal are ready to up their bid for the Brentford goalkeeper and are prepared to spend £10m on the shotstopper, with Emiliano Martinez set to leave the club (Sun, September 13); Brentford goalkeeper Raya is prepared to hand in a transfer request to try and force through a move to Arsenal (Daily Mail, September 9); Arsenal have reportedly identified Brentford goalkeeper David Raya as a replacement for Emiliano Martinez (Daily Mirror, August 29).

Houssem Aouar – Arsenal ‘agreed terms’ with Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar on a long-term contract two weeks ago (Daily Star, September 18); Arsenal will soon make an offer of over £36m for the Lyon midfielder, according to reports (Daily Express, September 17); Arsenal are set to make a new bid for 22-year-old Lyon midfielder after their initial offer of £31.2m was rejected (ESPN, September 10); Arsenal target Houssem Aouar reportedly ‘only wants’ Juventus this summer, in a transfer blow to the Gunners. Mikel Arteta’s side are interested in the Lyon ace, and are even believed to be willing to offer cash-plus-Matteo Guendouzi to land his signature (The Sun, August 25).

Runar Alex Runarsson – The Icelandic goalkeeper has reportedly visited London Colney to complete his Arsenal transfer (Mirror, September 19); Arsenal are hopeful they can secure the signing of the Dijon goalkeeper in time for him to make the squad for this weekend (Daily Star, September 17); Arsenal are close to signing Dijon goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson.
