We only have two days to wait until we can watch Brad and Jen reunite on screen for the first time in 19 years. Yes, the first time in 19 years.

No, we’re not joking! This is not too good to be true!

OK, so, details… Brad and Jen are among a huge list of A listers – including Julia Roberts, Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding and Matthew McConaughey – who are helping to raise money for Sean Penn’s emergency relief organisation CORE and REFORM Alliance, as the actors will be reading through 1982 hit movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High for Dane Cook’s Feelin’ A-Live benefit.

Unfortunately, we are not going to have a repeat of those SAG pictures – as the event is virtual. But we have now had our first sneak peak, with John Legend tweeting a photo from the read through, which you can see below.

Sean Penn originally starred in the teen comedy – and though he won’t be reprising his Jeff Spicoli, he will be getting involved. ‘I’m always game for a giggle,’ he said when announcing the fundraiser. ‘So, to gather remotely for a night of laughs with so many talented folks while providing CORE with much-needed resources to continue our vital work, then consider us fully onboard to play.’

We don’t know who’s going to play who just yet, but we do know that a. we’re excited and b. it’s being streamed live on Facebook and TikTok on September 17.

The last, and only, time the couple acted together on screen was when Brad guest-starred in an episode of Friends in 2001.
