Ok, so we know Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth split months ago and have both moved on with other people, but it’s still kind of sad the pair have now made their break up Instagram official.

It’s not entirely clear when they unfollowed each other, but fans reckon Liam hit the unfollow button shortly after Miley posted clips of Cody at her family home in Tennessee on Monday. As well as hanging out with Miley’s mum and sister, Cody also attended Miley’s brother’s wedding.

Obviously it makes sense they’ve unfollowed each other because we can’t imagine Liam really wants to see Miley and Cody’s choreographed dancing videos, NSFW uploads or the pair spending time together at the same place they got married. Equally, Miley probably isn’t too keen on seeing Liam looking all hot and stuff in Montreal while he films his new movie.

Still, Miley and Liam’s shock split seemed pretty amicable, with the actor wishing her “nothing but health and happiness” and the singer saying, “Liam and I have been together for a decade. I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will.”

Miley also unfollowed ex Kaitlynn Carter, but she still follows Miley. Incidentally, Kaitlynn had nothing but praise for the singer when she publicly addressed their brief relationship this week.

In a deeply personal essay for Elle magazine, Kaitlynn revealed that her “first and only romance with a woman” was something that “felt exactly right”.

She denied that their short-lived romance was simply a “summer fling”, adding, “This was a profound journey of self-discovery. For the first time, I listened to myself, forgot about the ‘norm’, and lived. Cosmopolitan reports.

“I hope that everyone, when given the chance, takes the time to understand who exactly their most authentic selves are, untethered from what we may have been taught to believe.”
