The Nigerian Christian pilgrim Commission NCPC, this Sunday at the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, City Of David Province in Abuja held its annual thanksgiving, the executive secretary Rev. Tor ujah said it is eminent to give thanks God for being at the centre of the affairs of humanity and ensuring that His children have all that they desire and most especially for helping the commission through the year 2018.
A pastor in the church Alex Okoh who also spoke on the essence of Easter, charged Christians to hold fast their faith and be thankful to God in the Face adversity.
Speaking during the thanksgiving service, The executive secretary NCPC Rev. Tor Uja, applauded the pastor for admonishing the body of Christ and charged the brethren to run with the message and live a good Christian life.
According to Rev. Ujah, the year 2018 wasn’t pleasant, but God Proved himself in the midst of the challenges. He commended staff of the commission for standing with him throughout the year 2018.
Pastor Alex Okoh further charged Christians to be focused on their goals and stand above every challenge life might throw at them. According to him victory lies in challenges and no one is ever victorious running from challenges. He admonished all to be vigilant and serve God selflessly, noting that God is ever present to help his children.
while Speaking to the press, the Executive Secretary said 2018 pilgrim exercise is the best the commission has ever had. He said no live was lost and every activity of the commission in the year 2018 recorded a huge success.
The executive secretary of the Nigerian Christian pilgrim commission while challenging Christians in northern Nigeria to get involved in pilgrim activities in Nigeria also challenged the Christian body to be ambassador of Christ in showing excellent leadership whenever they are called upon.
