It’s believed the rapper made a huge donation to his G-Unit Foundation, after selling his home in Connecticut. TMZ reports the 21 Questions star sold the property for a whopping $3million and instead of pocketing the money for himself, he’s hoping it can be of significant help to his charitable foundation instead.
50 cent, real name Curtis James Jackson set up the G-Unit foundation to help non-profit organisations that focus on low-income communities across the US and improving their quality of life.
50’s project provides grants to the organisations involved. The home he sold that made his huge donation possible was previously owned by none other than Mike Tyson and comes complete with 21 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms.
50 managed to keep the property despite filing for bankruptcy four years ago in 2015. His bankruptcy came about as he was ordered to pay $7 million in damages to Lastonia Leviston the former girlfriend of Rick Ross, his long-term enemy after he leaked a sex tape featuring her and a partner and included his own commentary.
It was then claimed, two years later, that 50 was suing his lawyers for $32million after losing the sex tape case.
