Gary Neville believes Liverpool are starting to feel the pressure in the current Premier League title race.
The Reds are currently level on points with Manchester City despite previously holding a comfortable seven-point lead over the reigning champions in January.
The Merseyside club have drawn their last two league fixtures against West Ham and Leicester, allowing City to go level with them at the top of the division.
Neville, who has eight Premier League winners medals, believes Jurgen Klopp’s side are struggling with the tension that comes with being at top of the league.
Neville told Sky Sports. ‘It clearly rattled them and it showed. ‘Those questions do annoy you, but never show they annoy you – that’s a complete no-no in a title race.
Just bat them off and move on. Don’t give anyone any excuse to think the pressure is getting to you.
Liverpool are bidding for their first league title in 29 years, with there now just 13 games left in the current league season.
The Reds’ next game is against Bournemouth on February 9 in the Premier League.
