Ticket sales for Liverpool’s final league game with Wolves has skyrocketed – The tickets for the match have increased to up to six times above the normal price.

The Reds currently top the table with four points above Manchester City Liverpool are one of the favourites to win the Premier League this season and tickets for their last game against Wolves have multiplied, reports claim.

The May 12, game at Anfield could see the Reds lift the league title for the first time in 29 years if they continue their superb form this season. It still quite a long way to go with just 23 out 38 matches played, but Jurgen Klopp’s side are four points ahead of rivals Manchester City.

Some ticket fee are already going up according to a Madrid based website livefootballtickets.com, 212 tickets available in different stands and blocks in Anfield.

The cheapest of the tickets costs £1,100 and the most expensive goes for a mouth-watering £5,950 in the block KK stand. VIP hospitality package which includes a four-course meal and complimentary drinks will have to cough up just short of £5,000.as advertised on the site.

It is understood that Liverpool do not control over tickets for matchdays on resale sites. According Daily Mail, tickets for Liverpool home games cost between £37 to £59 for adults but this shows ticket agencies are taking advantage in price hike ahead of the final game.

Liverpool fans would give everything to witness their final matchday Premier League game but paying £869 will be six times the normal price.

Meanwhile, It’s understood that Premier League club Liverpool are set to become the first football club to record a €100million (£88.2million) pre-tax profit. The Reds have played tremendously well this season and are currently sitting four points clear off title rivals Manchester City in the Premier League.
