Enyimba stars Sunday Adetunji and Austin Oladapo insist the team can’t afford to let a CAF Coneferation Cup semifinal berth slip through their fingers at home after battling to a barren draw against Rayon Sports in their first leg quarterfinal clash in Kigali on Sunday.

Two-time African champions Enyimba (2003, 2004) face a tricky test against Rayon in the return leg in Aba on Sunday, as the need victory to advance to the next stage, while a score draw will see the Rwandese side through to the last four.

Rayon coach Roberto Oliveira warned Enyimba after the Kigali clash to expect a tough fight for the ticket to the semis in Aba.

But Enyimba forward Adetunji downplayed the threat posed by Gikundiro to his team’s title hopes in the second-tier African competition, vowing they would run out winners at Enyimba Stadium.

Although midfielder Oladapo is tipping his side to go through, he warned his teammates not to take victory for granted at home.
