A father who was filmed as his baby daughter stood on his lap steering the wheel of their car as they drove along at speed has been labelled a ‘moron’.
The shocking video posted online by the dad himself included captions flashing up on the screen that were supposed to be funny, including, ‘What are you looking at? I’m learning to drive’ and ‘I’m totally crashing into anyone who’s in my way’.
The 10-month-old girl can be seen clutching the steering wheel as her and her dad drive. They speed along a road in the central Thai province of Nakhon Nayok.

Online viewers labelled her dad Teerapat Duangdennakthong a ‘moron’ as well as a ‘murderer’, though the stunt did not kill or injure anyone.
Teerapat Duangdennakthong claimed he usually put his daughter in a car seat for driving
The 29-year-old car mechanic told Thai media: ‘She was sitting on my lap. I didn’t force her. She just stood up and touched the steering wheel. People insulted me on Facebook. Some people call us a moron or even a murderer.’
He claimed he usually put his daughter in a car seat for driving, though child safety seats are not thought to be widely used in Thailand.
