Just when the nation is yet to recover from the Reigners Bible Church collapse in Uyo, another building has collapsed in Lagos state.

The uncompleted two-storey building which was under construction at the time of the collapse on Thursday, December 15, is located at Makinde Street in the Ikeja area of Lagos, Linda Ikeji reports.
There has been no report of casualties following the collapse as it is unclear if anyone was working at the site when the building caved in.
But police have cordoned off the area and have begun a rescue operation at the site of the collapsed structure.

Meanwhile, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has urged churches across the country to desist from holding services in uncompleted buildings following the tragedy that occurred at the Reigners Bible Church Int’l Inc, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
CAN also called for sanctions to be meted out to those who are responsible for the construction of buildings with substandard materials across the country which has been partly adduced as the reasons for the church collapse.
