You have prayed, fasted, gave offering, gone to mountains, gave thanks – still no answer, no breakthrough.

Do you feel you are getting older waiting, and hoping against hope for that miracle? You feel the days, months, years are passing by? You have prayed very hard and you just learn to carry on living and bearing your cross: But God does answers prayers, he is working it out – your issue is not difficult for him, we don’t have all the details. God does.

Our situation can change suddenly without warning: Waiting is part of life, it is a fact – nobody can avoid it!!

A pregnant woman waits for 9 months, an elephant two years – they are both expectant, hopeful that a day and time is coming for delivery of their bundles of joy – the pregnant woman has no choice but to wait and cannot say I don’t want this pregnancy anymore unless she decides to abort the baby – May we not use our hands to abort our destinies. Expect it to happen, not sitting around passively but hoping and ‘doing’.

Once we’ve asked God to answer a question or solve a problem, we need to be eagerly waiting for his answer. We need to be serving actively, aggressively and expectantly. When our hearts are eager to hear from God, He loves to rush in suddenly with His solution. In many cases this waiting period actually serves as a time of preparation for the answer. If God answered right away, many of us would be ill-prepared to handle His solution.

Sometimes we find ourselves in such horrible messes that it’s hard to imagine waiting one more second. But we need to keep waiting on God and trusting Him with a sweet and simple faith. Then, in a way we never could’ve figured out—God moves suddenly!  In the Bible, Paul & Silas were experienced in waiting, they waited well – they sang and worship God….. Acts 16:24 – 26, suddenly… God answered!

So don’t give up. Don’t stop believing, keep hope alive, be expectant, he is the all-powerful God – he knows the reason, timing and season for your breakdown.

Trust God and keep doing Good – he makes all things beautiful in his time.
